22
We provide packages for ubuntu
Bionic
(18.04), debian
Stretch
(stable) and
Buster
(testing).
23 Try the standalone bundles if your distribution is not there.

25
Please refer to the linux installation docs how to install the debian packages for your distribution.

28
29
Above, the
release
component tracks only the stable releases. That is probably what you want to use.

30
31
If you want alpha versions and release candidates, use
staging
in your
/etc/apt/sources.list.d/bitmask.list
file, like this:

32
33

sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list.d/bitmask.list
34 deb http://deb.leap.se/client staging stretch
35

36
37
If you want to have the bleeding edge, use
master
instead. Beware that this can be unstable at times:

38
39

deb http://deb.leap.se/client master stretch
40

42
Removing the packages

43
44
If you want to remove bitmask from your system:

45
46

sudo -s
47 apt remove --purge bitmask leap-archive-keyring
48 rm /etc/apt/sources.list.d/bitmask.list
49

50
51
You probably also want to wipe all the files in your local user account, in:
