From 9883c75446187af0f88e03af75b42e8d3773fa18 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Ruben Pollan Date: Mon, 3 Apr 2017 11:27:21 +0200 Subject: [test] remove randomness tester There was a test in the Keymanager refresher that was testing the randomness of the refreshing intervals. It was producing a bunch of intervals and checking that all of them where different. This test (rarelly) fails some times, but this is not a sign of bad randomness. - Resolves: #8813 --- tests/integration/keymanager/test_refresher.py | 18 ------------------ 1 file changed, 18 deletions(-) diff --git a/tests/integration/keymanager/test_refresher.py b/tests/integration/keymanager/test_refresher.py index b5b36b00..24ad4b05 100644 --- a/tests/integration/keymanager/test_refresher.py +++ b/tests/integration/keymanager/test_refresher.py @@ -130,21 +130,3 @@ class RandomRefreshPublicKeyTestCase(KeyManagerWithSoledadTestCase): self._soledad, gpgbinary=self.gpg_binary_path) rf = RandomRefreshPublicKey(pgp, self._key_manager()) self.assertTrue(rf._loop.interval >= MIN_RANDOM_INTERVAL_RANGE) - - def test_is_random_really_random(self): - pgp = openpgp.OpenPGPScheme( - self._soledad, gpgbinary=self.gpg_binary_path) - rf = RandomRefreshPublicKey(pgp, self._key_manager()) - - for x in range(0, 5): - random_numbers = [] - - for y in range(0, 5): - random_numbers.append(rf._get_random_interval_to_refresh()) - - # there are different numbers in the list - if len(random_numbers) == len(set(random_numbers)) \ - or len(random_numbers) == len(set(random_numbers)) + 1: - self.assertTrue(True) - else: - self.assertTrue(False) -- cgit v1.2.3
